Validity start date:
Kuvaus puuttuu
The nomenclature is used when saving a case brought before district courts into the case management system of courts of law called Tuomas. From the nomenclature only one case code describing the case is selected. If the case includes several claims, the code for the central case is entered. The nomenclature is also used in the statistics of the courts of appeal and the Supreme Court.
The nomenclature of civil cases was produced in collaboration between Statistics Finland and the Ministry of Justice and the latest handbook was published in 2002. The nomenclature comprises two parts: A Civil-law cases and B Applications and distraint cases. The nomenclature of civil cases contains the nomenclatures and case codes for civil-law cases and applications and distraint cases used in the Justice Statistics.
