Renovations of commercial and office buildings are inquired every three years. The target population comprises owners of commercial and office buildings or those responsible
for the building. The survey is a sample-based telephone interview survey. The interviews are carried out by Statistics Finland's telephone interview centre

The sample includes 700 owners of commercial and office buildings. Around 200 largest owners of commercial or office buildings are selected to the sample. The remaining part of
the sample is drawn at random.
