Cafés in the city center opened their outdoor terraces, and people sat there, enjoying coffee and pastries. Down by the river, boats started gliding onto the water, and the white sails of sailboats looked like swans with wings.

In Helsinki’s parks, snowdrops and crocuses bloomed. Children ran on the grass, and parents sat on benches, soaking up the sun. Dogs barked happily at each other, and someone played the guitar under a tree. The March sun still hung low in the sky, but its warmth felt like a promise of better times.

In the evening, Helsinki’s sky turned orange during sunset. Many people gathered by the shores to watch the sun sink into the sea. Some took photographs, while others sat quietly, just observing.
