Agricultural and horticultural labour force

The statistic describes the agricultural and horticultural labour force. It is comparable with agriculture and horticulture labour force statistics from all other countries in the European Economic Area in which data are gathered using a Farm Structure Survey. The statistic contains data on the number of employees in agriculture and horticulture, annual work, training and gender. In addition to the nationwide statistic, regional statistics are given analysed by the operating areas of the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment. Data are also analysed by production sector, legal form and employee gender. Data are compiled from the statistical questionnaire included in the Farm Structure Survey every 3 or 4 years.
